MATERIALS PROVIDED
✅Test Strip w/Micro scoop (included in pouch).
MATERIALS NEEDED
✅Timer or any other time tracker, like a watch.
✅Water to dilute the sample.
✅Clean container (like a cap or cup).
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Open the pouch:
Use the test strip within 1 hour of opening. Allow the strip to reach room temperature 59-86° F (15-30°C) before starting the test.
Follow the steps below after opening the pouch.
1. Prepare your sample:
● Add 5–10 mg of powder to a clean container. (If using a tablet or solid, crush it fully before mixing).
● Add 5 mL of water and stir well until dissolved.
2. Dip the strip:
● Hold the strip by the orange end where 'FYL' is printed.
● Avoid touching the white section of the strip.
● Insert the strip vertically into the solution.
● DO NOT dip past the Max line.
● Keep the strip in the solution for at least 15 seconds.
3. Remove the strip:
Place it on a clean, flat, non-absorbent surface.
4. Start a timer:
Wait for the colored line(s) to appear.
5. Read the results:
Read within 5 minutes. Do not interpret the result after 10 minutes.
HOW TO READ RESULTS
● A negative result can be interpreted once the (T) test and (C) control lines BOTH appear.
● If 60 seconds have passed since the control line appeared and no line is visible for the drug, the result can be interpreted as positive.
POSITIVE: One line (C only) and No line (T) - Contains Fentanyl.
NEGATIVE: Two lines (C and T) – Fentanyl could not be detected.
(Even a faint test line means negative.)
INVALID: No line at C – test didn’t work, use a new strip.
